This is one of those things that is so easy to make, and so much healthier than the store bought version, that there is really no reason ever to buy jam again.
1 C strawberries
1 T agave
1 T chia seeds
Blend the strawberries until there are no chunks, either in a blender, or with a stick blender right in the bowl you’ll store it in. Blend in the agave and chia seeds. It will thicken as it sits. Store it in the refrigerator and use it in sandwiches, on pancakes, or anywhere else you would use jam.
Feel free to try different berries, different sweeteners (maple syrup, stevia) and adding in different flavor accents like vanilla, lemon juice, etc.Go to Recipe →
