Citrus-Herb Green Smoothie

I loved the basil and lime together but wanted to make it without any sugar so I used orange juice which is naturally sweeter, with a little lime juice to keep that fresh flavor.

    We made this last night for our first green smoothie ever–and it was amazing! (We didn’t have any basil in the house, so we made it with just mint, and it was still delicious.) Because it was so delicious and refreshing tasting, I didn’t even have a desire to eat the mammoth and lovely coconut cake sitting in our fridge. Success! Then we made this again this morning for breakfast. Two smoothies in, and we are totally hooked.
