This recipe is a staple of our family, but we used to eat it with chicken, cheese and sour cream. This is a new twist on our original recipe that is completely vegan. The best part is, our kids like it just as much!
It's snowing heavy snowflakes that are melting when they hit the ground. But still, it's April, and an overcast, snowy day isn't so cheerful right now. So, I made a Summery breakfast (well, second breakfast, since green smoothies are always first).
I bought store-bought Almond Milk and Rice Milk for years until the first time I made this. It is so easy to make, and more fresh with cleaner ingredients than the store-bought versions. You'll love having the ability to make your own "milk" with almost nothing other than easily stored almonds.

I loved the basil and lime together but wanted to make it without any sugar so I used orange juice which is naturally sweeter, with a little lime juice to keep that fresh flavor.
This is great for those times when you’re craving something Reese’s-like. Every time I make it I’m amazed that it is sweetened with nothing but bananas.
